Cape Canaveral Florida
Cape Canaveral "The Home of Sun, Space & Sea"
Cape Canaveral is a dynamic beachside community located on Florida’s East coast, a short drive from Kennedy Space Center, less than an hour from the Orlando area attractions and minutes from the port. Residents range from young families and professionals to retirees living the dream. Great weather, beautiful beaches and rivers, and outdoor activities makes Cape Canaveral a great place to live! Go down to the port and pick out some fish to cook for dinner or better yet go sit out on the deck at one of the waterfront restaurants and let them cook for you. Go get a last minute deal at the port on a cruise or charter a fishing boat and catch your own fish. Come see why it is known as "The Home of Sun, Space & Sea".
Cape Canaveral is located in Brevard County. It is most famous for the Kennedy Space Center and all the wonder that goes along with this prestigious honor. The city of Cape Canaveral is at the northern end of a barrier island on the Atlantic coast of Florida, at the eastern end of Florida State Route 528 from Orlando. Interstate 95, a primary north-south route on the Atlantic Coast, intersects FL-528 near Cape Canaveral. Melbourne International Airport (IATA: MLB) , just 27 miles south, is the closest airport to Cape Canaveral.
